Prior to April 6th I called George County Vet at a minimin of 3 times. Everytime I called I confirmed if my pets needed to be fixed for boarding bc they are not and I wanted to make sure they would not be around other dogs. I also needed to confirm what vaccines they needed. Every phone call it was confirmed that they are only around their "siblings" (dogs in the same household) and based on shots they recently received we concluded that they only needed their bordetella vaccine. My parents dropped my dogs off on April 6th. They called me saying they needed their vaccine records. I told them that I had spoken to them several times and they never once told me I needed to send records but they just need their bordetella. They said it was fine and accepted the dogs. On April 8th I recieved a call from the vet asking for their vaccines and if I wanted to do the $145 package (per dog) which includes all their vaccines and an exam. I declined and I told them that I had already spoken to them now 4 times, they just received all their vaccines in Febuary and the only thing they needed was the bordetella. I told her we would be picking them up tomorrow and I can bring their records when I come. She said that was fine. The phone call did not seem assuring so I called back again to let them know that I did not want the $145 package, they already have had their vaccines and just needed their bordetella. She said it was fine. On April 9th we arrived at the vet that afternoon to pick them up. My husband waited over an hour for them to bring the dogs out. They acted very strange and he said our bill was more than I told him it was supposed to be. I called and asked if we were only charged for their stay and the vaccine? She said yes, that is all. It was $100 more. When I looked at the invoice we were charged for an exam. I called them back and we were able to work that out and they refunded the $100.. but then one of our dogs started having symptoms of kennel cough. We were then made aware that they did not give our dogs their bordetella vaccine until after my husband showed up to get them. They did admit to us that the bordetella vaccine should have been given to them at a minimum of 72 hours prior to their stay so it was already irrelevant in protecting our dogs during their stay. They ended up calling in medicine and wanted to charge us $83. I asked if they would cover the cost due to their negligence. They then changed their story and said our dog did not have kennel cough and that it was just a "cold"... Fast forward to about a week and a half ago our dog starts showing signs of pregnancy.. we call them back and asked what are we supposed to do if our dog was impregnanted in their care. They said it was absolutly impossible for that to happen at their facility. I told them due to previous problems we dont see them very trustworthy. They told me I needed to bring our dog in for an ultrasound that would cost $175. I asked them what they are going to do if she is pregnant and they said lets take one step at a time. I asked them if they would be willing to work with us with this situation since they are adamant that it did not happen in their care and we are adamant that there is no possible way she got pregnant at home would they be willing to do the ultrasound free of charge and if it is a false pregnancy we will gladly pay any fees associate with it and if she is pregnant and the timing lines up to their care they can handle it. Their office manager told me no, she had already talked to Dr. Smith and there is no way she was pregnant in their care, dogs only go out with their sibling dogs, and there were no unfixed male dogs during her stay. I told her since they are not willing to work with us that we will take our dog somewhere else for care and if she is pregnant and it lines up to when she was in their care I will pursue legal action. The conversation escalated and I politely told her I am not going to argue I am going to end this conversation. She told me to email her and I was hung up on.

Rudie was neutered after treated for an illness. Both times everyone was caring and helpful. This is our only go to place with our animals.
