My sweet dog escaped through a hole in our fence and was tragically hit by a car. I tried to call my regular vet with no luck. It was on Sunday. Mother’s Day and to say I was frantic and devastated is an understatement. The phone was answered by the veterinarian as if I was just a huge nuisance and was told I needed “ to calm down bc he was in church”.calm down?? I was speaking clearly but my baby has been hit and is struggling. My dog had to be euthanized and i felt like we were just a nuisance “bothering” him on a Sunday and we were rushed from start to finish: I don’t care that he was annoyed at me or if he liked me i truly don’t but he never even spoke a work to my poor baby. Just treated him like he was nothing. Vets should really take a class in empathy and compassion or maybe ask the other vet around here how to treat people and the animals they LOVE.

My sister, Carol, and I brought a stray cat to Dr Tischer when he was literally in his parking lot about to leave the office for the day! He turned around and promptly opened back up his clinic to take care of him with kindness, quickness, and care! We could not recommend Dr Tischer more highly! And his staff, including Macie, are so wonderful too! We will never forget the incredible experience we had there! Philadelphia and the surrounding area are very fortunate to have Dr Tischer and his staff!
